Travelling by car
Travelling from Munich
1. Autobahn A95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen:
Leave Munich via the A95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
2. End of the Autobahn at Eschenlohe:
Follow the A95 until it ends at Eschenlohe.
3. Federal Road B2 towards Oberau:
Turn right onto the B2 towards Oberau/Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
4. In Oberau onto the B23 towards Oberammergau:
Turn left onto the B23 towards Oberammergau/Ettal.
5. Arrival in Oberammergau:
Follow the B23 for approximately 11 km to Oberammergau. At the northern entrance to the town, turn right.
6. In town to Freikorpsstraße:
•Drive straight on Rottenbucher Straße for about 700 meters.
•Continue on Bahnhofstraße for approximately 250 meters.
•Turn right into Freikorpsstraße.
•After about 70 meters, you will find our hotel on the left side at number 5.
Travelling from Augsburg
1. Federal Road B17 towards Landsberg am Lech:
Leave Augsburg via the B17 towards Landsberg am Lech.
2. Continue on the B17 to Schongau:
Follow the B17 through Landsberg am Lech all the way to Schongau.
3. Onto the B23 towards Oberammergau:
In Peiting, switch to the B23 heading towards Oberammergau.
4. Arrival in Oberammergau:
Follow the B23 for approximately 35 km to Oberammergau. At the northern entrance to the town, turn left.
5. In town to Freikorpsstraße:
- Drive straight on Rottenbucher Straße for about 700 meters.
- Continue on Bahnhofstraße for approximately 250 meters.
- Turn right into Freikorpsstraße.
- After about 70 meters, our hotel is located on the left side at number 5.
Travelling by train
From Munich Central Station:
1st train to Murnau or Oberau:
Take the regional train in the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and change trains in Murnau or Oberau.
2nd onward journey to Oberammergau:
Change to the regional train to Oberammergau.
3rd arrival at Oberammergau railway station:
From the station it is about a 10-minute walk to the hotel or a short taxi ride.
From Augsburg main station:
1st train to Murnau via Weilheim:
Take the regional train to Weilheim (Upper Bavaria) and change there in the direction of Murnau.
2nd onward journey to Oberammergau:
In Murnau, change to the regional train to Oberammergau.
3rd arrival at Oberammergau railway station:
From the station it is about a 10-minute walk to the hotel or a short taxi ride.
